ACC Change Request

Please contact Douglass Property Management to submit an ACC Change Request for your property.

Change Request Procedure

Thank you for submitting this request and working to enhance the beauty of your home.

IMPORTANT: Please submit one (1) change request for each change, even if the projects are running concurrently. If you wish to paint your home, build a fence, and replace your gutters, each requires a separate change request submission.

Please be aware of the information below can be found in the Arranmore Design Standards document.

Please read the information below carefully before submitting a change request. Ask questions if anything is unclear.

No project may begin until the ACC has granted approval of the submitted plans. The approval process begins by submitting to the ACC two sets of the following items in acceptable form: a site plan with all existing structures shown, and a detailed, written description of modification including materials and colors to be used. The ACC will retain one set, and the other set when approved, will be returned to the builder/owner. If the ACC fails to approve or disapprove submitted plans and specifications within sixty (60) days after the plans and specifications have been submitted, approval will not be required. The sixty (60) day period will not begin to run until all plans and specifications necessary to make its decision have been submitted to the ACC.

Please remember – REQUEST APPROVAL BEFORE BEGINNING ANY IMPROVEMENTS OR MODIFICATIONS. The form should be submitted to the Management Company and the ACC at least 30 days prior to the anticipated start date of the project. When in doubt, submit a request.

Please Note: An approved exterior modification must be completed within 6 months of the approval date. Homeowners are responsible for acquiring all permits. It is advisable to contact the necessary government institutions for information and requirements.

The contents of these guidelines, and any actions of the ACC or its agents, are not intended to be, and should not be construed to be an approval of the adequacy, reasonableness, safety, structural integrity, or fitness for intended use of submitted plans, materials or construction, nor ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning regulations or other government requirements. Neither the Association, the Board, the ACC, the property management company, nor member thereof shall be held liable for injury, damages or loss arising out of any approval or disapproval, construction or through such modification to a lot.

The purpose of requiring submission and approval of plans is to achieve harmony and aesthetic coordination of the development of Arranmore and to secure compliance with the recorded Declaration. The contents of these guidelines, and any actions of the ACC or its agents, are not intended to be, and should not be construed to be, an approval of the adequacy, reasonableness, safety, structural integrity, or fitness for intended use of submitted plans, materials, or construction.

Please note: Homeowner must notify association in writing when work has been completed. Association has the right to inspect finished work to insure work was completed as approved.

Arranmore Paint Schemes

The Arranmore Paint Scheme, as approved by the Board and ACC, is available through Sherwin Williams. Sherwin Williams paint is not a requirement to paint the exterior of your home; this is only for color choice and matching to other paint brands if you wish. Please contact Douglass Property Management to obtain the paint schemes and design standards.
